We've discovered a long-lost never-heard-before interview with the brilliant Paul Thornley from 2021, and simply had to share it with you!! In it Paul shares the transformative power of combining martial arts with neuromuscular therapy, distinguishing how classical biomechanics and holistic, 21st century anatomy do - or don’t - make sense of our embodied existence. He does this in such a unique way that it inspires all of us to ask new questions to truly improve our overall wellness.
Before Myofascial Magic In Action even began, Joanne and Paul joined forces out of a mutual passion for understanding human living architecture as soft matter; which has different rules altogether to most classical-based training. This episode shares Paul's unique approach, after decades of training in Karate, the British Army, Pilates and Brazilian Jujitsu all combined with ENMT; which is European Neuromuscular Therapy.
Whether you’re interested in gait improvement or seeking to deepen your understanding of integrative health and therapies, or simply want to move better - this conversation offers valuable health insights. So join us as we explore the vital role of connective tissue and fascia integration, and learn how these elements contribute to systemic wellness, walking efficiency, and much much more.
