The Social Key: Hosts Bro James and Rafika welcome Monalisa Johnson founder of Parents with Incarcerated Children PWICUS.org joins us to talk about the realities of what mother's go through and how they can get help and support when their children are incarcerated. She talked about how her life changed when she received a call in August 2012 from her one and only daughter stating, “Mom, I’ve been arrested!” Her daughter was ultimately sentenced to 10 years in prison and Monalisa’s seemingly happy life suddenly became unrecognizable. She has authored a resource guide Incarcerated Essentials: An End-to-End Resource Guide for pre, during and post Incarceration. We continue to celebrate women during the month of March. The Keys 107 focuses on the 7 keys that open doors to endless possibilities in the pursuit of love, peace, and happiness. Each episode explores the spiritual, mental, physical, emotional, financial, art science & entertainment, and the social keys with emphasis on acts of kindness.
