In 1984, Mamadee founded Global Committee Commemorating King Days, the only organization in the world, that visually affirms and historically preserves the 3 key Principles of the American Civil Rights Renaissance of the 1960’s (1954-1965). In 1988, Global Committee held the first Integrated Festival in Marquette Park’s History and although, it was co-sponsored by the City of Chicago, she still had to face terror from the Skinheads, Nazis and Klu Klux Klan, who joined forces to stop them from honoring Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., 22 years after he was stoned there on 71st Street; bringing Open Housing to Chicago. Mamadee conceived the idea, wrote the Ordinance and lobbied for 3-1/2 years to resurrect the Legacy of Emmett Louis Till that was buried for 30 years, by naming 71st Street Emmett Till Road (in Chicago, Illinois) after him to teach tolerance and Children’s History.
