The Linger Effect
Season 2 Episode 2
Investing In Yourself

  • What investing looks like?
  • Why we should be investing?
  • What keeps us from investing in ourselves?
  • Who are we investing for?
  • How investing supports the discipline?
  • How investing will change your life?

Where should I start investing?
In my opinion it should be a spiritual investment

  • Put God First
  • Let that relationship feed your other investments
  • When you open the word of God read it and apply it to your life, that will attract the right investments to your life.

What are reasons why we don’t invest in ourselves?

  • I don’t have time
  • I don’t know where to start
  • Excuses
  • Too tired 🥱
  • No motivation (God’s Word) will change that very quickly.
  • Influenced by wrong people
  • Spend to much time partying

How can I break the mold and start investing today?

  • Put a date 📅 on the calendar
  • Start your day with God
  • Build yourself an accountability wall
  • Ask God for the desire to invest in yourself

Investing starts one day at a time
I encourage you to get a bowl place it in your kitchen and every time you invest place a toothpick in the bowl at the end of the week see how many investments you’ve made
Track your progress…#builtdifferent
