Pete Benda was in a coma for over 2 months at the age of 14 after falling off of a 30’ high hydraulic scissor lift in high school. He suffered a severe traumatic brain injury. His recovery process has been difficult and miraculous. His dad says, “he worked his tail off” to get where he is today. The human being he has become since the fall is quite admirable. He’s an amazing young man and his story is well worth the listen. His mind is amazing and the kindness and clarity he exudes is a lesson for us all. He has a mind I adore.
