Today's episode is dedicated to the new moms and future moms out there. We are talking about "reinventing who you are" after the baby. We are talking openly about fighting the lies that depression and anxiety tell you day in and day out.

This is a mental health episode today, and I always say the same thing: It's sometimes really helpful to hear this, but if you're in a certain place, it might not be, so come back later if that's what's best for you.

Britt Davis is a mom of four and lives on a farm in Greenwood, VA. During the pandemic, she picked up a paintbrush for the first time and has since been using her art as a platform to discuss difficult topics, such as mental health issues, anxiety, and PPD.

Britt and I talk about her best friend’s passing, our experiences with perinatal and PPD, the difficult side of motherhood, and the importance of reaching out to others. We also talk about Britt’s art, spreading positivity into the world, and some helpful resources for those who find themselves in the pit. Tune in this episode to hear more!

Let’s dive in.
