Ali is the mom of two little girls. As a recovering perfectionist, motherhood humbled Ali and continues to humble her. In this episode, we discuss mental health; if you're sensitive to the nature of this subject or topic, you might want to come back to this episode. Ali always wanted to be a mother, so when she became a mother, she felt joy, excitement, and sorrow. Later, Ali was diagnosed with postpartum depression and anxiety after the births of both of her babies. Sadly, Ali's picture of motherhood was immediately shattered.
