Welcome back to another episode of the Pelvis Project Podcast! In today’s episode, you’ll get to learn more about Megan and who she is as a person, her decision to pursue the field of physical therapy (and eventually, pelvic health specifically), the story of her and Roxi meeting, her journey as a business owner, and more.

Megan has always had a passion for working with and taking care of her patients (especially the aging population), but deep down, she knew she wouldn’t be satisfied doing just this for the rest of her life. After stepping out of her comfort zone and taking some risks on her journey, she knows that the pelvic health space is right where she needs to be.

Now, Megan is the owner and founder of Kansas Pelvic Health and Wellness, and she loves providing her patients with quality, up-to-date pelvic health care. One of Megan’s biggest pieces of advice is that the choice that makes you the MOST uncomfortable is probably the one you need to make, and you shouldn’t be afraid to embrace what’s ahead!

In this episode, we’re talking about:

  • Megan’s story of growing up in Kansas and marrying her high school sweetheart + the current season of life she’s in with her family
  • Megan’s background as a swimmer, which ultimately led to her decision to pursue a career in physical therapy
  • Feeling a persistent desire to do something else and like something was missing, but unsure of what was at the time
  • Why it’s important to keep an open mind and not be afraid to explore new (and uncomfortable) opportunities when they’re presented to you
  • The power of opening your heart and mind up to new opportunities, even when you’re fearful and unsure of what may happen
  • The story of Megan and Roxi connecting at a pelvic health conference, and how a beautiful & lasting friendship was formed from there
  • Megan’s decision to jump into entrepreneurship and open her own clinic to serve + treat people needing pelvic health support

Make sure to tune in every other WEDNESDAY for a new episode-we can’t wait to chat with you again then!
