Questions;

Time; 3:15

  • I'm really trying to be a client-centred coach and ask as many (admittedly leading) questions as possible to help guide clients to solving their own problems.
Even though I feel like this is the best way to coach people, sometimes it feels like I'm not really helping people solve their problems in that moment
For example, I had a call with a client this week who struggles mentally to find the energy to get out of bed. We went in on her values as well as the barriers and challenges she's facing
I asked loads of questions to try and understand her better, but after the call I felt like I hadn't really helped her all the much, because we didn't really come up with anything actionable to try and change those habits
    Any thoughts?

  • What's a quality present in PTs you work with that you see is lacking in the rest of the industry?

Time; 10:40

  • When changing systems and delivery of service how can you encourage existing/old clients to follow new format

Time; 12:50

  • How to take time off as a PT and not having to cram sessions in before your holiday / after so you are overworked. Is there a way at that you can give client more value other than just valuing your program based on an an hourly rate and how would you communicate that to a new client?

Time; 15:19

  • If you both were in complete charge of the FT to PT model of commercial gyms, what would that look like?

Time: 18:30

  • How do I incorporate a holiday policy into my client agreement? I charge per month not per week so how do I articulate that I will be taking a week off each quarter? (Hope that makes sense)

Time; 20:01

  • What's lined up for the post conference gig on Friday and Saturday? Need to know how many change of clothes to bring!

Time; 21:00

  • I think I've heard Nik say he is/was an introvert and that it took some work to go and talk to people on cruise ships. I'm very introverted too and it always takes me a lot of energy to get started on my check-ins, calls or sessions. I love what I do, but my comfort zone is behind my laptop screen and it doesn't seem to improve much with time. Do you have any advice to make this easier?

Time; 24:20

  • What's the most common problem coaches have that you come across? and how do you help them overcome it?

Time; 28:25

  • How do you prioritise when everything is a priority?

Time; 31:15

  • I have a few leads who come to anything that I do that is free like my Saturday bootcamp, free two week trial of weekday bootcamp - first to sign up to a freebie. I know that there is absolutely no chance of them ever working with me. One has signed up to a free taster session for my SGPT - which they will never sign up to - taking a spot that could have been used by a genuine potential client. I can't kick them off the taster session but in the future I'm thinking I will leave them off any taster session invites so that a space isn't wasted. Short-sighted or realistic?

Time; 34:18

  • What do you do when you aren't getting much engagement or enquiries?
