Week 15 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2018 regular season is now in the books! The Eagles went out to Los Angeles and beat the Rams for the second time in two consecutive seasons, this time by a score of 30-23. What was supposed to be an easy victory for the Rams ended up being their trap game, keeping the Eagles in the playoff hunt amazingly enough. This Eagles team is now 7-7 on the season, and we are thoroughly shocked!
Jeff and Erik broke down this game where we saw a very well balanced offense come to fruition for Nick Foles. 24 completed passes in this game and 24 total ushing attempts. Standouts on offense were Alshon Jeffery who caught all 8 balls thrown his way for 160 yards and Wendell Smallwood who averaged 4 yards per carry and scored two touchdowns. The defensive line standouts were Fletcher Cox, Michael Bennett and Brandon Graham, while Avonte Maddox, the rookie, played well in his return game after healing up from his injury. Special teams also played a large role in this game with a 51-yard field goal, a punt return fumble recovery and great punting, overall, from Cam Johnston.
As always, we gave our breakdown, analysis and takeaways from the game. Plus we also got into the team stats, box score and graded the positions and coaches.
