We will explore attachment theory in a Gestalt framework. Have you ever wondered what your inner anxious parts have to say? How about your inner avoidant parts? It’s commonly spoken about having just one attachment style, but what if we have many attachment styles within us? Together, we will explore and hear what our inner parts have to say through embodiment, inquiry, and playfulness.
-having active participants would help. This is a more experiential teaching than a lecture.
Naiya comes from a background rooted in curiosity. Through her travels and residency around the world, she began to ask the question, “What does in mean to be human?” As a cultural psychologist, she is fascinated by the power held in circles and the role emotions, such as shame, play in repressing life force energy. Over the years, through guiding others in cacao and plant medicine ceremonies, ecstatic dance, women’s circles, breathwork, yin yoga, and Hakomi, she aims to create space to empower others to express their inner voices through breath, sound, and movement, witnessed and supported in a judgment-free space. She believes intention, space, and loving presence are the keys to a meaningful connection with ourselves and others.
