I went on my first diet when I was only 10 years old.
10 years…imagine that!
Looking at pictures now I have no idea how I could even think that I was overweight. I guess I was simply copying my mother. She has always been on a diet.

But it’s not about the objective reality in that moment.
It is about our perception of our body when we look into the mirror.
There are two aspects that play a role when it comes to our body image.
The conscious actions and the unconscious aspect.

  • Based on your past experiences you might have created an unconscious belief that is still active within you and no matter what you do - it will stand in your way to losing weight.
  • Obviously the nutrition you choose is relevant, as well as exercising.

9 tools that will contribute to your sustainable weight loss

1. Listen to Your Self-talk

Self-respect and self-acceptance are the cornerstones to achieving your optimal weight.

By talking to your body in a positive, loving manner—the way you would speak to an innocent child—you can rewire your subconscious brain.

Do this every day!

Over time, your subconscious will align with your conscious desire to lose weight.

2. Write YOUR New Story

Or maybe you want to make better food choices so that you have more energy.

Focus on the emotion that you feel!

3. Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

4. Meditate
