Welcome to The Semantic Satiation Hour. Embark on a one-hour journey into meditation, mindfulness, relaxation, sleep, affirmation, ASMR, visualization, and hallucination. It can be whatever you want it to be... ...mystical meditations ...enchanting visualizations ...empowering affirmations ...hallucinations of the mind ...a sensory delight pushing boundaries and awakening your senses Whether seeking relaxation, inspiration or something entirely different, tune in to The Semantic Satiation Hour and take a trip that defies convention. The path to the extraordinary starts here. Instructions: 1. Sit or lie down. 2. Relax. 3. Close your eyes. 4. Listen. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Semantic Satiation is a psychological phenomenon where repeated exposure to a word or phrase temporarily diminishes its meaning or impact. During my own testing of the hour long audio, I’ve experienced some intriguing effects. As well as the obvious - the word losing its meaning, the word sounding like something else - it’s been my very own meditation podcast; it’s been my very own sleep hypnosis podcast; and it’s been my very own mindfulness podcast. I’ve had vivid visualisations, intense bodily sensations and in one instance a drifting of time. It felt like I was coming to the end of the audio but I’d actually only been listening for 7 minutes. It would be great to find out other people’s findings in this bizarre experiment! ----------------------------------------------------------------- If you wish to support TSSH, please take a look here: https://ko-fi.com/thesemanticsatiationhour
