In this week's episode I have the opportunity to visit with someone who I have a lot of respect for and have grown to become friends with over the past few years.
JP Brose is the kind of man you want your kids to be around. He is a mentor and a leader. He has coached kids of all ages and taught them the value of sportsmanship, the skills needed for success in their sport, but most of all he has taught them about themselves and how to be someone in life.
JP has always been active in some form of sports and that continues today. He had the making of a future triathlete as a young boy from swimming, biking and running he just hadn't seen the big picture yet. JP has evolved from being a great athlete to coaching and developing great athletes to developing and mentoring souls as a pastor.
This podcast is one that will touch every avenue of athletics, faith and the challenges a debilitating disease like M.S. has on a family, but ultimately how a family choses faith over fear and choses to live life to the fullest.
