Heather Roma, mama to Hendrix & founder of her successful creative agency “WESTSIDE COLLECTIVE” balanced being a single mama for 3 years with very little help while growing her business. She attributes a lot of her success to doing inner work and growing and healing from past wounds. Today she is going to share about how sometimes the universe pushes us into difficult scenarios (like leaving a marriage to an ex husband with undiagnosed bi-polar mood disorder) so we can grow & be the best mommies we can be.

Today we discuss:

  • Why our lowest lows often are our greatest teaching points
  • Her experience with a husband with undiagnosed bipolar mood disorder.
  • How Heather harnessed her own power and courage in the midst of a tough marriage with a young child in tow.
  • A few signs and symptoms of bipolar mood disorder that she experienced in her husband.
  • How she had to start listening to her inner voice when her anxiety was at an all time high.
  • How she believes in marriage but also believes that each one of us deserves happiness
  • Leaving her marriage with her son Hendrix in tow and the challenges that brought about.
  • Working on her business as a single mom with little help
  • The benefits and struggles of mompreneurship
  • How a mom Facebook community really helped support her when she was dealing with her divorce
  • How she stumbled upon "To Be Magnetic" and how it changed her life
  • The power of creating our own lives
  • Her experience with living her own truth and manifestation
  • Advice she would give to mamas going through a tough time
