When Black women go missing there is a minimal effort in the search process.
When Black women are murdered there is minimal effort to obtain justice.
But, there are things that can be implemented in your daily routine to increase your safety.
Sgt. Terris Thomas of the Jackson, MS Police Department stopped by for an important conversation about Black women & safety. He also shared information regarding texting and driving, the impact of speed in an accident, and the importance of reporting a missing person. FYI: You do not have to wait 24 hours to file a missing person's report.
