Emotions are universal – they transcend language and culture, and we all experience them every day. Why is it then they can often make us feel out of control? Why do we get overly angry or sad about things we think are unimportant to us? Why do our emotions sometimes lead us to act in ways we later regret?
For the actor, how can we harness our ability to feel emotion and create truthful characters we can all relate to?
In this episode, we discuss what psychologists and experts have to say about emotions, how they manifest in us and how we can better understand our own experience of them.
