B3 Festival is an annual event that celebrates the three B's - Blues, Brews, and Bites. It brings together some of the best musicians, breweries, and food vendors in the region for a weekend of fun and entertainment. The festival is held in the historic Soulard neighborhood of St. Louis, known for its lively music scene, delicious food, and thriving craft beer culture. It is the perfect location to showcase the best of the three B's.
At the B3 Festival, you can expect to hear some of the best blues music from local and national artists, ranging from traditional blues to modern interpretations. You can also taste a wide variety of beers from the top breweries in the area, from light lagers to dark stouts and everything in between. And, of course, there will be plenty of delicious food to satisfy your cravings, with a diverse selection of bites from local vendors.
In this episode, we chat with Dave Beardsley. Dave has been a vital part of the Blues scene here in St. Louis. From creating stlblues.net, founding The National Blues Museum and more. Dave’s passion for Blues led him the the organization SHARE ( Soulard Heritage Arts Revitalization and Education) which focuses on promoting the music and culture of Soulard and other communities in St. Louis.
