What if the only thing holding you back from achieving your fitness goals was your mindset and the fact that you keep giving up? Would you be willing to change that?
Here are some questions to ask yourself:
Do you rely on motivation to keep you going? Do you want to quit when the results don't come fast enough? Do you struggle to stay consistent? Do you show up even when you don't want to? Are you showing up as the person you want to be? Are you hitting your macros?
Truth bomb... those reasons are exactly why you never get to your ultimate goal! I will always talk about the importance of persistence and consistency in your fitness journey. Too often, I see people quitting when things get hard ... unaware that the results they are working toward are just around the corner. If you just keep going for one more week ... one more month, the results you want will come. I believe in pushing through, adjusting your plan as needed, and staying the course until you witness the change.
Success in fitness isn't a sprint, it's a marathon. It's not about how fast you can get to the finish line, but about the steps you take to get there. There are many different routes to success but the basics will never change. Getting enough sleep, staying hydrated, adequate movement, weight training, tracking your macros and setting realistic goals. Fitness is personal, and the key is to find out what works best for you and stick to it.
