Shaina Branfman Baira and Bryan Strimpel Baira are a choreographic and teaching duo with a unique perspective on the medium of dance. For them, dance and life are in fact the same thing. They approach their work in dance as a multifaceted form of research to shape deeper understandings and better inform the decisions we make as human beings relating to ourselves, others, and the greater whole. Together, the three of us unpacked many hidden connections of how movement and life are always influenced by one another, making this a particularly rich and stimulating conversation, and I am thrilled to be sharing it with you all.
