Ashanti Branch, M.Ed., is the Founder and Executive director of the Ever Forward Club. Founded in 2004, The Ever Forward Club mentors underserved youth in middle and high school by providing them with safe, brave communities that build character and transform lives. Truly making a mark in the world, 100% of their club members have graduated high school and 93% have gone on to attend college, military, or trade school.
Ashanti tells the story of his life and what drove him to start the Ever Forward Club. Growing up a child of a single mom, Ashanti was in charge of taking care of his siblings—having to take on adult responsibilities as early as seven-years-old. Although he had a successful job as an engineer, he felt something was missing. Later, he became inspired working with youths as a tutor and found his calling.
