Holiday season is upon us and as a professional fundraiser, as a woman, as a mother, I think it’s important to talk openly about burnout and how to identify its markers before things go too far.

So why? Why such a drab topic right before the ‘most wonderful time of the year?’

Well, you may or may not be surprised to know that by the end of the year a whole heck of a lot of us are indeed BURNT OUT!

This time of year has a mixture of work year-end, family requirements and expectations, and societal pressures about what we’re supposed to be feeling and doing during the holidays. If you’re feeling the tell-tale signs of holiday/end of year burnout, I feel for you.

I hope this episode gives you clarity on why you might be feeling burnout, what will make you feel less alone, and an opportunity to work through your feelings of burnout.If this episode sheds light on your own personal burnout, reach out and seek help!
