In March 2012 Lizzie was out cycling when she was struck by a trailer attached to an overtaking vehicle. She suffered major injuries including a broken spine, leaving her paralysed from the waist down.
Later that year visitied the Calvert Trust to do a taster event for sport, and it opened up a whole new world to her. She went on to compete for Great Britain as a Para-triathlete and through sport and hard work, to travel the world. This is her story.
