Manage episode 316698314 series 2941477

In 2017, Jonathan publicly came out as gay, perhaps crushing those teenage crushes we all had on him, but making the teenage dreams of many LGBT youth come true. Johnny has more recently starred as the lead in Hallmark’s history-making first Christmas movie featuring a gay lead character during the holiday season the whole world needed hope the most, 2020.

We also get his two cents on representation, fictional portrayal being accurate to someone’s non-fiction life experience and advice for young people listening or parents/friends/employers listening on creating a safe, accepting environment for people to be confident and comfortable being themselves.
