Tim shares his incredible journey — from his early days as an athlete and movement coach to the traumatic birth of his first daughter, Sage, which completely reshaped his purpose and approach to health. Alongside his wife, Dr Casie Leeming, Tim has since travelled the world studying with leading chiropractors and paediatric neurological experts. Now, as a passionate practitioner and father of two, he brings a deeply personal lens to his work, helping families and individuals reconnect to their nervous systems, their bodies, and their natural rhythms through chiropractic care and simple, intentional movement. Quotes I owe a lot of my good character and values to many miles on that river. I learned hard work. persistance and dogged determination. Chiropractic just landed for me, it made sense. Chiropractic is helping the human body to experience health, performance and everything in between. Sage’s condition was a real moment of surrender. We were in a sympathetic state of flight or fight, confusion and grief. Understanding what disabilities she had was a heavy thing to carry. Emergency medicine was amazing and kept her alive. You can look at it as a whole with death at one end and vitality at the other. A symptomw ill do something or give you something to get rid of. We checked and adjusted Sage multiple times a day. We used music at 512Hz, essential oils, prayers, community, a Facebook group rooting for us, meditation and visualisation. A child goes through various stages from birth – 1: Breathe; 2: Turn the head; 3: Learn to suck and swallow; 4: Learn to digest and poop. As a father, a male, you just want to get in there and help… and you can’t. She chose well having us as parents. Sage is a very robust healthy kid. Fever is the perfect response to an invading pathogen. Have full faith and trust in the capacity of our body’s and babies body’s to do what they need to heal. Tony gave me such clarity, conviction and certainty. Life pulls us in the right direction. Be a beacon of hope, help and light. Life will always humble you. It is all my own responsibility and for me to figure out. Our health is our responsibility. It’s very rarely genes or bad luck. Nobody has your health in their hands, you do. We had help, guidance and colleagues from every angle. Many men would understand this, but Sage pulled me back home and realise my values hierarchy. It can be overwhelming but it is about the art of discernment. It takes time and repetition and you will get better as a skill but it has to be intentional. The spine is the taile of the brain. Take responsibilty for your own health. There is a depth of value with grandparents and elders. The generation has wisdom, guidance, a way of life and behaviours that are so important. Sue Willoughby is the Founder of Willoughby Coaching, where women over 40 confront their personal obstacles and change the trajectory of their lives with the power of Equus Coaching. Equus coaching helps you discover the profound impact of non-verbal communication and self-awareness as you engage with horses, gaining insights into your leadership, communication style, and personal growth. Raised by a single alcoholic parent, Sue struggled with low self-esteem and learned from an early age to be self-sufficient and embrace discomfort. She came out at the age of 17 and struggled to find her place in the gay community, attempted suicide at 19, and was on a path of living hard and playing harder. Her life dramatically improved when she met a new partner in the early 90s and moved across the country with her. After this move, Sue returned to school, started a new career, and became a homeowner and real estate investor. Sue found coaching through her lifelong love of horses. They were always there to support her through some of the darkest and most difficult times of her life and she now finds fulfillment in being the coach she wished she had in those challenging times of her life. Sue regularly practices what she preaches by getting out of her comfort zone; she’s been a Nightclub DJ, a standup comic, an actor, a private pilot, and a Roller Derby referee, just to name a few! Horses are my safe place, my happy place. Horses act as my feedback loop. They don’t judge, they don’t lie. Horses are using all of their senses all of the time. Horses will sense what the person needs. They use their sense of smell, so you can exchange breath with them. They process information from the left and right side. It’s actually very methodical how to calm a horse. I use Reiki and energy with horses so they feel safe and can let go. It is the movement of the horse, the energy of the horse that we connect with. Horses are connected in their hearts. My sense of humour has kept me afloat. My comfort zone was discomfort. Horses provide comfort, safety and belonging. Dr Anthony Chaffee is an American medical doctor specializing in Neurosurgery who over a span of 20 years has researched the optimal nutritional habits for athletic performance and health. It is his assertion that most of the so-called chronic diseases we treat as doctors these days are actually caused by the food we eat, or don’t eat, and can in many cases be reversed easily with dietary changes. He began his university education studying Molecular & Cellular Biology with a Minor in Chemistry at the University of Washington in Seattle at the age of 15, which culminated in attaining his MD from the Royal College of Surgeons. Throughout his athletic career, he saw firsthand the monumental difference that diet makes to performance and recovery, and almost accidentally came across and practiced a fully carnivorous diet from age 20 to 25, having first learned of the toxic nature of plants during his university education. Adam Gibson began his professional life owning gyms in Melbourne. From gym to coaching health practitioners to build their businesses. Dr Brett Hill is a wellness mentor, host of one of Australia’s top rated health podcasts, public speaker, chiropractor and author of numerous books and e-books. Humans are caring. We all have a wonderful ability to think with logic but that is bypassed with fear. Keep reinforcing the good. People only do what they think is good. Politics is driven by numbers. You have power with your wallet and what you choose to consume when it comes to the media. Parents need to hold principals accountable too. You can’t have anything if you don’t take responsibility. It’s a sure road to ruin if you don’t. How can you trust someone who makes money out of you being sick? We should have a simple tax system that is not about manipulating people. The community and family are a source of welfare. We need a government that is compassionate and doesn’t take responsibility away from the people. The best reward for looking after yourself is your health. How can some get it with no issue and some with major reaction? Why are some seemingly unaffected and others injured? The Chatters couldn’t stay away from their listeners, they felt a need to connect with them in this very different time on planet earth. She discovered in 2017 after a cystoscopy that the mesh had skewered her urethra in several places and was embedded in her bladder.
