The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing animal cruelty. Based in New York City since its inception in 1866, the organization's mission is "to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States." Throughout the year we at We Forge On will be focusing our charitable efforts toward a charity that is near and dear to us. January through March we will be highlighting on the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® or ASPCA for short. While we make it our mission to advocate for men, we also realize that animals are just as important to us.
