Do you uphold high standards for yourself? It’s one of the questions I often ask my community inside Rise Through Style.

I love high standards—some people may call them high maintenance, but to me, they show a level of care for yourself, your style, and your business that continuously sets you on a path that aligns with your truth. It shows that you know yourself and not only what you want but also what you deserve; that’s powerful.

Perhaps one of the reasons that I love it the most is that your high standards for yourself can also highlight when you may be wobbling in your power or beginning to negotiate outside of what you know your future self would want.

I recently had a shopping experience that highlighted the power of high standards. I wanted to share some of the lessons and ah-ha's that I took away from it.
