There are many varied perspectives on what constitutes a healthy life and how to get there. What few disagree on, though, is how important health is in the context of living a vibrant life.
Today we sit with Jackie Blunt to discuss the concept of “holistic health”:
- What does “holistic health” even mean, and how does it compare and contrast with our typical way of thinking about health?
- What role does our inner wisdom, our heart, and positive energy play in health?
- What does it look like to “uplift” health on a contiguous basis?
- And finally, how can we integrate an understanding of holistic health into the way that we approach our own health?
Join us for a rich discussion centered around the idea that health is not just about treating problems, or even preventing problems, but rather about growing into well being - physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. We’re reminded that we should listen to our hearts, stay curious, experiment, and find our own version of a holistic health practice that enables us to shine.

About Jackie Blunt:
Jackie Blunt has been a doctor in New Zealand and the Pacific region, wellbeing team lead in the educational sector, Ren Xue teacher and coach, and currently works as practice development coordinator for Ren Xue International, developing Yuan Ming practice.
Jackie grew up riding a pony to school and puddle jumping while she wondered how the world might find peace with all the wars that were always going on somewhere. That seemed to be a good training ground for independent thinking and a lifelong exploration of how people and the world heal. While taking a break from studying medicine and traveling through Asia, she became very ill while meditating on a monastery in Thailand, and was fortunate to survive a coma and to come back with new insights from a near death experience.
