Magnus Fridh is a Swedish Meditation Teacher, Ashtanga Yogi, Buddhist Mindfulness proponent, Author & the host of a podcast by the name ‘about_yoga’. Magnus studied Indology at University of Stockholm, and specializes in Tibetan Buddhism and culture, and Ashtanga Yoga that imparted him in-depth knowledge on the subject of Meditation & Mindfulness.

Magnus discovered meditation for the first time in his teenage years, growing as a restless child in southern Sweden. He was seventeen when his life took a surprising and abrupt turn, when a Tibetan youth they were sponsoring opened up Magnus’s channels onto this way of life. It did not take long before Magnus realized the power of both meditation and mindfulness, and as he grew more interested, he travelled to Nepal to practice meditation.

Magnus is the co-founder of The Mindfullness App which has been translated into 13 languages and has become wildly popular around the world with involvement in a number of ongoing research projects. Magnus is the author of the book "THE ART OF STILLNESS IN A NOISY WORLD " that talks about how to find silence, peace and quiet in the everyday life. His book has been translated into 6 languages

Today, Magnus is one of Sweden’s foremost experts on meditation and well-being. He regularly teaches group Ashtanga yoga, mindfulness and meditation classes. He organizes retreats in Sweden and different parts of the world. In past, together with Modern Psychology and India Travel, Magnus has organized a culture, yoga and mindfulness trip to Nepal!.
