There are three stages of menopause, perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause. It can last on average five to seven years and sometimes be shorter or longer depending on the individual. It’s important to realize that menopause can affect your day to day lives. It’s important to stay on top of our health as we approach menopause stages and be aware of the symptoms.

Did you know that there are 34 symptoms related to menopause? While we shouldn’t be afraid of menopause there are things we can do to better prepare ourselves as well as understand how it may affect us in different ways. It can feel like we are going crazy during this time, but before you jump to conclusions, reach out to your OBGYN or a therapist and discuss these symptoms with them.
