Women in Tech with Priya K. Cutts
Manage episode 277108996 series 2794882
In this episode, we sit down with Priya, who tells us what it is like to work in the gaming industry as well as in the heart of silicon valley as a woman from Pakistan. We talk about what it was like for her to transition from her home country of Pakistan to college in England, and then to the heart of tech in the United States.
Priya is a strong believer in women standing up and using their voice without fear of reprimand or being told to be quiet. She also shares with us personal stories of when she has been both appreciated for her honest and forthright speech to her superiors as well as when she has been criticized for it and how to deal with both.
Priya above all else strives to make the workplace an even playing field for women of all colors by empowering them and starting groups in companies that allow more interaction and growth between women.
