When I asked John Pavlovitz, writer, pastor and activist "How The Hell Did You Get Here From There?! we could have talked hours upon hours.
If you go to his website, you'll find this:
You should be a little weary right now.If you are, be grateful.
That is a good thing.
That weariness is confirmation that your heart is working properly.
It is your humanity responding to so much inhumanity around you.
It is evidence of your goodness still fighting to feel useful.

This was a fascinating conversation.
According to John, "I got here because I cared deeply about humanity and the more aware I've become of the injustices against it and the more that I've been given better stories about people that I used to see only from a distance, the more passionate I've become about caring for humanity. I think what deep love for people does it propels us into places we wouldn't otherwise step into and it makes us surrounded by people we would never meet any other way. That is the beautiful path,,, but it is precarious..."
John Pavlovitz is a writer, pastor, and activist from Wake Forest, North Carolina. A 25-year veteran in the trenches of local church ministry, John is committed to equality, diversity, and justice—both inside and outside faith communities. When not actively working for a more compassionate planet, John enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, cooking, and having time in nature. A survivor of the Second World War, Dr. Yvonne Kaye uses her experiences in working with people in emotional pain, grief and loss, believing in the spiritual power of humor as a healing tool.
Dr. Kaye has been in the field of human service for many years, encountering extraordinary people whose courage has amazed her. Her passion is offering enrichment in life, mentally and emotionally, to those who have no concept of their own creativity.
This weekly podcast will include everything from laughter roaring to covering Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)...anything goes.
