Kartik Aaryan to join hands with Kabir Khan

Kartik Aaryan, who is riding high on the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, is set to collaborate with Kabir Khan for an upcoming film. The film which is based on a true story will be jointly produced by Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala and will go on floors early next year.

Salman Khan to shoot for two films at one location

Juggling between multiple films can be draining for any actor. But Bollywood superstar Salman Khan seems to manage it well. Khan, who is busy shooting for Bhaijaan, will feature in a special number for Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film Godfather. To make things easier for the actor, the filming for both these films have been scheduled at the same location. The makers of Godfather have built a grand set at the Golden Tobacco Factory in Vile Parle, where the next schedule of Farhad Samji’s Bhaijaan has been planned. Bhaijaan will feature Khan opposite Pooja Hegde while in Godfather, he will be seen shaking a leg with Nayanthara.

Gentleman Jack’s creator is hopeful of a third season

Days after HBO decided to cancel the critically acclaimed period drama Gentleman Jack after two seasons, its creator Sally Wainwright offered a glimmer of hope to the series’ loyal fans. In an interview, Wainwright revealed that the BBC is interested in renewing the show. The series set in 19th-century Yorkshire is based on the real-life story of Anne Lister who is often referred to as The First Modern Lesbian and is a co-production between HBO and the BBC.

Nintendo to acquire Dynamo Pictures

Video game company Nintendo plans to buy out Dynamo Pictures, a Tokyo-based CG animation studio, with an aim to develop original visual content with Nintendo IPs. The announcement comes months before the release of the highly anticipated Super Mario film which is based on Nintendo's Mario video game franchise. Dynamo Pictures was involved in the production of Ghost in the Shell and Resident Evil franchises.

The Gray Man

The highly anticipated Hollywood film starring Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, and Dhanush is set to premiere on Netflix on July 22nd. The action film is helmed by Anthony and Joseph Russo, who are best known for directing MCU films like Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

Indian Predator: The Butcher of Delhi

Indian Predator: The Butcher of Delhi is a docu series centered on a ruthless serial killer who decapitated the bodies of his victims before leaving the corpses in front of the Tihar jail in Delhi. The docuseries helmed by Ayesha Sood will be available to stream on Netflix from July 20th.

Ghar Waapsi

Disney+ Hotstar’s drama series Ghar Waapsi revolves around a young man who returns to his hometown after losing his high-paying job in Bengaluru. The series which releases on the platform this Friday features Vishal Vashishtha, Akanksha Thakur, Atul Srivastava, Vibha Chibber, Saad Bilgrami, and Anushka Kaushik.

777 Charlie

Rakshit Shetty’s comedy-drama film 777 Charlie is set to premiere on Voot on July 22nd. The film revolves around the friendship and affection between a young man and his dog who changes his life for the better. Apart from Shetty, the film stars Charlie, a labrador, Sangeetha Sringeri, Raj B. Shetty, Danish Sait and Bobby Simha.
