Depending on what you wanna do with the knowledge, knowing a bit can be worse than knowing nothing at all, specially if it makes you THINK you know enough. If the purpose of educating yourself on different subjects is to understand them better and being able to ask smarter questions, then it is good. But if the purpose is to act as if you know, then it's worse than knowing nothing at all. Do you get educated first, then develop an opinion or develop an opinion, then educate yourself to back it up. A half ass knowledge is worse than no knowledge. If you only know half the story, you don't know the story. It's better to know a lot of one thing, than a little bit of everything. Don't be a jack of all trades, master of none. There is so much attention we can pay, make sure to spend it wisely. Don't worry about what you can't control, and if you can control it, then do something.
