A-B holds a Master of Nursing degree, she retired from the Air Force as a colonel, where she had a distinguished career as a senior nursing executive leader with extensive aeromedical evacuation, with hospital and regional health system headquarters expertise. She also served as a military consultant to the Air Force Surgeon General for aeromedical evacuation and flight nursing.
