This episode is all about that hard-to-define line between a social connection (like a colleague) and an emotional connection (like your longest friendships).
We open this episode talking about how we both feel calm and content this week. Regular listeners will know that is rare for us!
To skip the check-in and get right to our regret letters, please start the episode at 13:24.
Victoria shares that she has regrets about mistaking social connections for emotional ones. This is somewhat related to a previous regret about staying in relationships too long; but it is another layer!
Shadoe opens up about a specific time that she overshared with someone about the pressures she was feeling about having kids. She also made a huge mistake in assuming something about this person. Thankfully, this person took the time to graciously correct her. Victoria helps Shadoe realize that there is a way to be grateful about this memory instead of guilty.
We also talk about one of our favourite movies! (Hint: its a pixar movie allll about emotions)!
