Remember as a child paddling around in the shallow end, because it felt safer there compared to the risks over in the deep end of the pool? As adults we sometimes retreat to the shallow side of our personalities for a sense of safety too. But the deeper waters are where the best swimming is found, and deep connections are where the best of what life has to offer begins as well.
