It's so easy to get stuck in competitor mode. Feeling like you have to be better than others in your field and allowing stress and anxiety to take over.
When you are competing with others you are telling yourself you're not as good as them, there isn't enough to go around, time is running out and a range of other false stories. These false stories lead you to rush and make fear based choices and you quickly lose your own unique style and flair because you are just trying to be better than others rather than creating from a place of purity and individuality.
Remaining in the creator mindset allows you to see the creation of others for the beauty it is and take any learnings you can from their work while maintaining your own artistic integrity and going at your own pace. Reminding yourself you are creating, not competing reconnects you with the truth that there is an abundance for all and that you don't need to do things the way they have been done before. You can create your own lane, in your own time.
This new mentality is the fastest way to reconnect with your own unique zone of genius and create the way you are designed to.
