I'm joined today by Jenn Clayton, certified Nutrition and Weight Loss Coach who now helps others change their lives following her own incredible transformation after discovering calorie tracking and a new way to approach her health.
It's always inspiring when hearing how a guest on the WLW Podcast has experienced such a dramatic shift in mindset as part of their transformation. Sometimes, it's so powerful that it actually creates a desire to help others do the same. Jenn is a shining example of how life changing weight loss can be, not only losing an incredible 140lbs but in so many other aspects including her discovery of hiking, powerlifting and an all round healthier life.
Jenn shares how it was difficult to accurately decide what she wanted to weigh at the start of her journey and how the reality is that the number itself is not important. Instead, it's much more about how you feel when you see yourself in the mirror and your mindset. Jenn described herself as "skinny" at her lowest weight but in fact much happier weighing 20lbs above that after gaining muscle and becoming stronger in the gym.
