In space no one can hear you pod! This week, we're battling through the horror scifi juggernaut of the Alien franchise. From its indie roots in the original 1979, to James Cameron's action reinvention of the 1980s, through the most recent installment that has nothing to do with Ripley whatsoever - Alien: Romulus. We'll discuss the creation of the xenomorph and the woman who takes them down, the erasure of Space Intern cat, Jonesy, from the ongoing Alien film franchise, with a spoiler free look at modern day Alien movies. Whether you're a longtime devotee of the Alien Queen or wondering if Alien: Romulus is a good jumping-on point, this episode is filled with strong female leads, shape-shifting aliens, and more face huggers than you can shake a stick at!
