Tune in for day 2 at the UTMB festival in Chamonix. We have been interviewing many different people to give you the real stories from the French Alps town.
Starting with Florian Lamblin, CEO of UTMB International, who gives us a few minutes of his valuable time. He takes us through his views on Asian runners, what he is most proud of at this year's event and even gives us a prediction who might win UTMB this year.
Moving on to Fuzhao Xiang, China's best 100mile lady who is coming back for her 5th UTMB race. Learn more about her goals, her nutrition and if she actually likes French food. Also, she shares a few more insights about the growing Chinese market.
Next is Affindi, one of the elite runners from Malaysia who is competing over the OCC distance. He is a sponsored Suunto and Hoka athlete and is excited to bring out all his energy.
We got a quick one with Amy Khor, the master connector of all Asian trail runners, who shares her predictions for this year's races. Go Asia!
Finally, after many months of waiting, we have Sam Zhong on the show, who is leads international business for the giant Chinese outdoor brand Kailas. He takes us through their strategy of supporting athletes and which markets they focus on.
Last but not least, we got Jonas Jacquet, co-founder of Sporthunger.de on the show, one of Germany's leading nutrition online stores. He digs into the Asian brands that he is excited about and shares tips how a brand can enter the German market.
It's all wrapped up by Markus getting a decompression session with Dr Ned. They reflect on this very busy day #2 and discuss who is the caveman of UTMB.
