Welcome to the Grumpy Gator Cafe for Marauder Radio.
This "pre-episode" (the launch is Sunday) features the commencement address I gave at Argosy University - Schaumburg, Illinois back in November 2014.
When it comes to healing, those seeking mental wellness need to leverage the power of their life story. My story is so dramatic that I call myself a Frequent Flyer to Hell and Back. Thanks for the vital episodes of my life, everything from traveling through Europe, meeting the Pope, playing hoops with Michael Jordan, getting married and raising a family are the bedrock on which I base my healing plan.
And the true power of my story is not that I have overcome drug and alcohol addition, lost my job, my home and my financial savings and security, and buried two infant children. The power of my story that fuels my healing is HOW I have chosen to respond to these life storms.
