Originally from Colombia, Ervin Liz is the founder of Minneapolis, MN. based specialty coffee importer and roasting company, Colombian Coffee Connection. Born to a Nasa indigenous coffee farming family, Ervin left his home in 2010 to complete his high school in Norway. In 2012 he arrived in the US and graduated with a degree in Economics from Luther College in 2017. Upon graduation, Ervin and his business partner Jon Baklund started the Colombian Coffee Connection with the mission to bring the freshest specialty coffee from Colombia and to compensate the farmers what is fair.
