Flicks XRayed is book club but for movies, each week we have a round table discussion about a film and invite guests to weigh in, review and rate the film of the week. We like to dig up films that may have been forgotten or are picks straight out of the bargain bin and closely X-Ray them for ours and others amusement. In each episode we like to talk about our thoughts on the film, hypothesize theories and play games for the coveted pretty pretty princess crown.

The podcast for gamers who love movies! In "Bits" we cover new and upcoming game releases, current game industry news and discuss any games we have been playing recently. Then in "Flicks" we go over any recent trailers, tv/film news and discuss any tv or movies we have been watching. Listen to both or just listen to one, either way we got you covered on all your entertainment needs.

Hey, boos! We're Callie and Kaitlin. We watch scary movies and podcast about them. Whether you're a blood-and-guts fanatic or a scaredy cat looking for a non-threatening summary of the latest prestige horror flick, we've got you covered with our weekly breakdowns of classic and contemporary spooky cinema.

Every other week, Valerie and Helen will look at a different chick flick (muff film, broad comedy, lady thriller, period movie, whathaveyou) and boil it down to its themes and how those themes affect our tender feminine emotions. Mostly we'll just go off on tangents about Sex and the City. We'll talk about chick flick tropes, like love triangles/squares/pentagons and sisterhood. We'll explore just how strong girl power actually is and if real vampires sparkle in the sunlight, or if that's ju ...

Welcome to the Cult Film Club, a monthly podcast and blog about MOVIES WE LOVE TO DEATH despite how bad, weird or obscure they are. In fact, we love them because they’re bad, weird or obscure! We discuss and analyze cult films from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and beyond. Collectively we possess an impressive amount of useless pop culture knowledge, but we’re no movie snobs–just a couple of guys (and a girl) who really like movies.

https://www.patreon.com/Swishflickcast - Welcome to Swish & Flick: An All Potter Podcast! We will be dissecting all aspects of the Potter series, chapter by chapter, and be warned, there WILL be spoilers. We are rereading the series and putting together all our knowledge from the complete canon as well as adding in what we have learned from JK Rowling’s Pottermore writings, exploring unknown areas with fan theories, and even coming up with some theories and ideas of our own!

Are you ready for a revolution in film criticism? Kevin Carr and hosts the syndicated radio program Fat Guys at the Movies, with podcasts of the show available through iTunes each week. Kevin gives a unique perspective on film beyond the snobby, pretentious art-house circles. Do you like big event films with lots of awesome explosions? Or maybe you like a standard chick flick. Of course, Kevin is always there to appreciate an exploitation movie with copious amounts of boobs. Hear an everyday ...

Ever watch a historical movie and thought "what the heck are they wearing?" We've studied real historical clothing, and we love to pick apart Hollywood's idea of period costume. But it's not just about history, it's also about symbolism, style, and more. Grab a cocktail and join us to bitch about crazy costume movies and TV series, fabulous historical costumes, and what it all means.

Amateur film lovers Peter and Connor discuss a new a new movie each episode with their special guest to see how they would make it perfect. The films range from terrible to weird but always end up classics in their minds. Laughs abound as the guys and their guest brainstorm what makes a film bad, how films get made, and what they could be in a perfect world.

We review the first two episodes of this darkly comedic take on 18th-century Russian Empress Catherine the Great, starring Elle Fanning and Nicholas Hoult.
