The reason why I like to hold on to things, was because it was easier to be the victim than the survivor - its easier to blame others than take accountability - so the biggest reason why we hold onto things too long is that it's comfortable - and easy - we don't have to do the work to move beyond that situation, I can be bitter because I was abused - my actions is justified - you don't understand what I been through - I don't change to make you happy, you have to change to make me happy, cause I was wronged not you - these are just a few examples of the things that we say and do because we holding to thing too long.
