Dr. Zandra Palma is a physician with a background in Functional Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Anesthesiology. Her interest in Functional Medicine began in college when she studied Human Evolutionary Biology at Harvard University. She wrote her thesis in the field of Contemplative Care after an apprenticeship with Zen Buddhist monk Seigan Glassing, who taught her how to integrate mindfulness-based practices into the care of terminally ill patients. Zandra currently practices Functional Medicine at Parsley Health in New York.
