By the sheer grace of God, the nurse who gave Matt his COVID-19 vaccine was a philosophy enthusiast! Syringe in hand, she asked him following question (proving unequivocally that smalltalk really is what you make of it): Would it be ethical to place one human being in a cage and subject them - for the duration of their life - to the suffering of all humanity, if this meant that the rest of humanity could cease suffering entirely?
