In episode 2 of the Cinema Sessions podcast, we dive back into the fetch world of the 2004 high school classic film, Mean Girls. We nostalgically reflect on our mid-2000s selves, the groups of friends we were in during high school, and the myriad of emotions that we feel while watching the film. Core themes of popularity, gossip, loss, change, suburbia, authenticity, dishonesty, and the ways we are perceived by others are explored. Due to some technical difficulties, this episode had to be re-recorded, leading to some zany and obscure moments. We highly recommend listening to this on a Wednesday while wearing pink.
