Welcome to EP 017 of the CVD podcast with Richard Mensah!
With more and more startups being created, when we see them pop up "out of nowhere," many people say, "Wow what an overnight success!"
But in reality... that's not the case at all.
Richard is a startup founder and a tech entrepreneur that has founded or co-founded multiple companies over the last 8 years. So, you can trust him when he says that this stuff doesn't happen overnight.
Being a tech entrepreneur, there is discomfort around every corner. You see a problem you want to solve, but have no idea how to do it. So, you get some friends together (or sometimes some strangers), and try to figure out the solution. And then you have to iterate on that solution a number of times to create something that will actually work.
You have to have an incredible amount of determination, perseverance, and self-belief to be an entrepreneur. That's what Richard has, and more.
Currently the co-founder of Salley (Story Alley), Richard and his co-founder are creating a community for Creators so they can connect, learn from each other, and produce content without burning themselves out. I'm already part of the community, and if you're a Creator, you should be, too.
In this episode, Richard takes us back to where his interest in tech and startups started and what he's learned by building multiple companies. Whether you're in the startup space or not, what Richard shares will inspire you to take on new challenges and see the world in a different way.
