The Vermont 100 mile endurance race was Hot. We take a look at the race through the eyes of a fine tuned grand slammer, a 16 time grouchy veteran grinder (#RIPNIPSEYHUSTLE), a gutsy first timer, and an Evil Crew/Volunteer. Each bring their own perspective to a very challenging day. We discuss all of the tricks that they used on the trails on a day where more than half the field had to drop. Very interesting stuff, if you like hearing about ultra running, and I suppose you do right? Most people don’t go into a bar to drink water.

Speaking of bars… If someone leaves a bar and gets a ticket for driving under the influence, who is responsible? The person who choose to drive drunk, or the bartender? What if the person was so drunk that they lost the ability to make a reasonable decision, and the bartender still continued to serve them? We have a heated discussion about the overlapping responsibilities of race management, and race participants, and all feel like drinking by the end…
